roots

It finally feels like I am putting roots into the ground here in Annapolis! Today I got my Maryland driver’s license, changed my voter registration and bought a vacuum cleaner. Yep, sounds like I’m settling in.

I was lucky enough to go home to my parent’s new home base for my birthday, which also happened to fall on Gordon’s homecoming weekend! God was so good in helping my parents find a home… basically so good in our whole family’s crazy transitions and moves this year. It is beautiful and full of love and life. It was the first time we were all together since my graduation in May. And we won’t be together again until Christmas. That is the hard part about going out on your own.

Here are a few snap shots from the trip.

And don’t worry, there will soon be art on this blog.
