It is officially getting cold here. Sandy blew through here for a few days and definitely left a mark. Lucky for us, she didn’t charge through the Chesapeake the way Isabelle did. Aside from a generous dumping of rain and howling winds, it was almost a non-event. It won’t be the last one now that I’m living on the water!
The photos are of the community dock in Travis’s neighborhood. The water there was about 2 feet above normal before high tide. I can’t believe I live in a place where neighborhoods have community docks. I love it.
Unfortunately, the storm delayed the arrival of all my painting supplies. Hopefully I will be able to start painting again next week.
