We just got our wedding photos back, and it has been so incredible to relive the day through those images.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.
I take you, Travis to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, in peace and in hardship, in sickness and in health, in plenty and in want, loving you now and as you grow and develop into all that God intends.
Together we will love and serve as Christ commands. This I pledge to you before God and these witnesses, with love and faithfulness, for as long as we both shall live.
Lord, make Travis and Kait instruments of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let them sow love. Where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine, master, grant that they may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console, to be understood, as to understand; to be loved as to love; For You have provided all that they need. It is because You have given that we receive; It is because You have pardoned that we can forgive; And it is by Your dying that we are born into eternal life.
